Billsons was established in Kettering over 150 years ago. It started life as a local blacksmiths and at the turn of the 20th century was based, in what is now the retail centre of the town, on Gold St. In the 1960’s it moved to it’s current location on Sackville St and expanded its stockholding capabilities. With dedicated fabrication workshops added to the site soon after, it expanded into the areas largest custom steelwork producer. We now provided specialist beams and fabrications for the regional house building industry and local builders. We also work with local building contractors on various projects including new build structures, small portal frames, school and home extensions, covered play areas, fire escapes and staircases, access ladders, generator support frames, gates, fences, balconies and handrails. It remains a family run business and employs around 20 people to sell, design, cut, fabricate, paint and install steel fabrications of all types. Focused on finishing every job to our customers satisfaction. |
